i had one as a loaner for 2 weeksMy wife loves the look of new Broncos. That was before I showed her the problems they've had. They want big money for big problems. Maybe it's the look-at-me thing. Like buying a Land Rover. Look at me while it's not in the shop.
that's when its best to pony up a deposit, then lease for 2 or 3 years, rather than to go broke buying. My wife loves the look of new Broncos. That was before I showed her the problems they've had. I've never leased a vehicle. Never liked the idea of not owning, then there can be costly consequences after the lease expires.Unless you can write it off on your business, a lease is just throwing money away. If you want a different/something "new" every couple of years, buy a low miles used car and trade it every couple of years. Will likely not have anything major go wrong that early in its life. But I cringe for anybody that leases.

Sweet! An Escape Bronco. Almost as sweet as a PT cruiser....just a Neon with a stupid face. The new ones on the Escape platform? I would only ever consider a full size heavy duty Bronco…but in reality, if I ever buy another vehicle before I go, it will be a JEEP Wrangler Rubicon or some such. All Jeep Wranglers are assembled at the Toledo Assembly Complex in Ohio (though brand owned by Stellantis like the rest).
But I have a trouble free 2020 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4WD, bought new off the lot in 2020, long ago paid in full, and now with less than 8k miles on it. I doubt I’ll be getting another. Oh, and ZERO recalls.
Then again, I could give mine to the wife and trade her 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk toward the Wrangler?![]()

. Hers has had ONE recall, which we updated at dealer this week. Was something with the parking brake, but we never had trouble with it and their software review verified our example with a “no issue” and they cleared it.
Alas, I’m probably getting a bit long in tooth to be fooling with Wrangler doors and roofs, and wheels, and tires, and…
Plus car payments would seriously cut into my guns and ammo fund!
The mavericks are made on the Escape platform also. The Ford Mavericks are built on some car-platform. I call them city trucks.
The new Rangers are Aussie-transplants.
Wish Ford would bring back the mid-late 90's "real" Rangers. Love mine. 248K on the original engine with just "old-age" parts replacements. KISS Ford.

like a white bronco with stock wheels and running from the MANI liked the looks of the 80's Bronco II. Never had one, but a friend did. He bought it used, so I don't know if it was mistreated or just a lemon, but that V-6 had nothing but problems as I recall.
