I just reposted in another way you should be able to viewi get a "severe" warning from my anti-virus software...
i cannot go there, it will not allow me
Im guessing that is sarcasm? Cuz why not?why would a micky d's employee, need a gun..????
i think "involvement" might be possible if said location was corporate owned, and thus hired by corporate...McDonalds may have been the location and employer of the shooter; but I hard pressed to connect them to being financially responsible unless they had additional involvement
if any business has signage posted, no open carry or, no guns allowed.....then he would be trespassing, and could have been fired.Im guessing that is sarcasm? Cuz why not?
Other than "deep pockets" and anti-corporation biases, why in the hell would it be McDonald's responsibility? I'm betting McDonalds has a policy against employees carrying guns. Maybe it the gun manufactures fault. God forbid we solely blame the shooter.I'm curious, since the incident occurred on McDonald's property, and was committed by a then currently employed individual, will McDonald's be covering the family's medical expenses? Or instead, take the position that said perpetrator has been terminated and it's not our responsibility ...
Bets, anyone?
Their property and employees, they WILL pay.McDonalds may have been the location and employer of the shooter; but I hard pressed to connect them to being financially responsible unless they had additional involvement
Not sure what you mean by that.Their property and employees, they WILL pay.
Hi,
There's a lot I'd like to see followed up on with this story. Was Mr. Blue legally carrying? Was he threatened at his place of employment? If so, have his attackers been identified and tracked down? What's the motive? Gangs? Drugs? Personal vendetta? Enquiring minds want to know.
THIS is what pisses folks off about the CIVIL Courts, failing anything directly linking McDonalds, they should be clear of any financial responsibility.Well , concealed carry in N.C. is for 21 & up , so no he wasn't carrying legal .
The first linked news piece reported that the incident was precipated by events from outside that city .
Mr Blue was repeatedly on his way to work , and had not yet started his shift .
McD's position will probably be along the lines of : Blue was not acting within his job duties , nor operating in any way on behalf of McD , nor in complience with McD rules , policies , or guidelines .
Plaintiffs could potentially alledge that McD was negligent in their Generalized Security measures , for that area , or industry standards for fast food joints .
Probably not anything regarding Blue specifically , unless something like Blue told the Mgr that he was planning to have a drug related shootout tommorow , and Mgr told him to be strapped , and be on his toes .
