THe vitrol directed at Trump from the left is animating the loonies more than usual. Fortunately most of them are too nuts to mount an effective attack. The White House is very secure and an attack there will be symbolic at best. . But they only have to get it right one time.

Multiple sources confirmed to Fox News Digital the suspect accused of opening fire near the White House Saturday afternoon has been identified as Nasire Best, 21, of Maryland.
Sources said the suspect, who was shot by U.S. Secret Service agents, died on the way to GW Medical Center.
He allegedly had multiple prior encounters with the Secret Service and a history of mental health issues.
Best was detained by the Secret Service on June 26, 2025, for flagging down agents and making threats, and again on July 10, 2025, for entering a restricted area, Fox News has learned.

So, the Secret Service let this loon go TWICE? What the hell are these idiots doing?

It used to be that 'news reporters' gave the facts as best they could determine them without any personal slant to their report. These days, it seems you can't even watch a TV news report without the reporter first telling you how you should hear it. :rolleyes: Station's regular news shows rarely tell it like it is anymore!

Law enforcement investigate and arrest. Prosecutors decide whether to 'charge' a defendant with a crime, if there's a likelihood of conviction and no doubt as to the mental health of the accused. Throw in activist "judges" who decide whether to hold a defendant in custody or release pending trial. That's how it works,especially in DC.
This clown was obviously a couple of pickles short in his barrel, so little chance of a conviction. He's the perfect example why involuntary mental health facilities need to be reconsidered in this country.

YUP! With all the assassination/shooting at Left SCOTUS Justices, political candidates, politicians, torching left state headquarters, murder of leftist speakers while giving a speech on a collage campus, the last couple of years. why would anyone make assumptions? :rolleyes:
 
Id put "****house rat crazy" before right or left. Anyway, im not spending retirement thinking about it. Moved back where I grew up, finally feels like summer, see if winter is what I used yo be, go do the things I wanted to do and not worry about stuff

Remember they only got 30 minutes for national news in those days, then it was “And that’s the way it is” or “goodnight David, goodnight Chet”. NOW they have 24 hours to present the same 30 minutes worth of actual news-gotta come up with something to fill in those 23 1/2 hours everyday- and it needs to be more dramatic than what’s on all the other “24 hour “new stations”. You doubt it? Watch any of them for 15 minutes-if ANY thing truly important is going on you’ll hear about it. The rest is all fluff/bs/opinions, NOT “News”. You’ll never hear these characters say “and that’s all the news for today, so we will be showing I Love Lucy and Andy Griffith show reruns until tomorrow (if any was honest and actually did that they’d be my favorite station…
