however, neither the mrs or i watch the half time show, UNLESS it is a REAL entertainer, and not some thug or other genre of so-called music they blast at us.

In 2018, I drove to the 1007 miles to Tijuana to watch Uriel Moreno (a.k.a. 'El Zapata') and two other toreros face seven bulls in the ring. When you are 25 feet from the bull, watching it make a valiant attempt to lift the Picador's horse from its feet it is truly exciting. I could smell the bull's blood as the mortal combat between man and beast unfolded before my own eyes.

In a televised bout, I saw "El Zapata" thrown seven feet in the air, only to get up and dispatch the bull.

These are not spectacles I'll soon forget!
