Another shooting

There saying on Fox News, 2 cops got shot and one passed, sad situation, but Fox will keep repeating the same old stuff all night and have so called experts telling you what may have occurred, these experts have no friggin ideal what went on inside that building, I don’t know why Fox keeps having them on and letting them ramble on, with so called expertise

Because Fox isn’t a news source, they’re an entertainment channel…
 
Gotta be fake news-everybody knows ya can’t have a gun in New York, it’s illegal….
Seriously though-darn shame about the cops and other victims in this mess. Big bucks are it’s yet another incident of someone with a history of mental illness who should have been in an institution.

To a point, but we can't fall in to the mental illness trap. In case we haven't noticed, mental health has become the cause du jour for years now and has been a key player in legal policies, schools, and law enforcement. There was/is a country that carried the mental illness stuff to its extreme conclusion and tens of thousands had a one way trip to the Gulag.

Even in the worst of times for humanity in the US, the mental institutions paled in comparison to the events you are referring to in central and eastern Europe. It's unrealistic to think in this day and age in the US, mentally ill people would be rounded up and sent off to anything resembling a gulag.

I’m hearing now he had an M4. Where would he get one of those? Must be some kind of black market for them. I wish these talking heads would explain the difference between an AR15 and an M4. They’re just leaving the impression that an AR is an automatic weapon. Or that you can just go out and buy an M4…

I saw the gun. Palmetto State Armory.

Saying M4 makes it sound military. The only angle they have left to exploit since it was a black guy in a state/city where carrying guns is effectively illegal.

Yes, they paled in comparison because political beliefs took no part in the diagnosis and treatment. I just caution about that aspect entering into it today.
