Anybody carrying a 5.7?

I'm old. I like the performance of the 45 Colt on the human body, but I want it in a package the size of a pocket nine. Ain't gonna happen... There isn't a perfect combination.

As far as stopping the vehicle, I don't think there's anyone making a concealable RPG.

Just my nickel worth on the subject...
 
Black Dragon Fang produces somewhere around 2100fps from a pistol and 2500 from a PS90. It will also snap into two pieces after penetrating armor giving multiple wound paths BUT it pricey. It IS however civilian legal.

A less costly option is most of the sub 40gr loads from FN and a few others. Just remember its the 27 to 30 grain loads you want. They will all defeat armor...and again all civilian legal

I like 45 too; but 45 colt wont defeat armor OR vehicles; 57 does. Theres a place for both

OK. The FN Five-seveN is a large but concealable pistol (about the size of a 1911 or Glock 17 but lighter and with a 20-30 round capacity. 5.7x28 WILL reliably defeat car bodies and windshields as well as hard body armor

Again I do like 45 colt and often carry a Peacemaker; but I choose what I carry based on the security assessment I determine for that day

Is there a 45Colt the size of a pocket 9? Im not sure which one you are referring too. I do have a custom Sherriff's model with a 2 inch barrel

I encourage you to carry what you feel is best for you
