Anyone CARRY a 2011?

I keep hearing about the 2011 style guns (1911 double stack 9mm). I know most of them are run as race guns with large magwell funnels; but Ive been wondering about one (maybe Commander size) as a CARRY gun?

Whadaya think? Im asking because I saw one in a shop, set up as a race gun with a red dot and I thought if the magwell was removed.....

Well, I actually don't own any that's labeled as a 2011 unless a kimber double stack 10mm with 18 round mag constitutes as 1, then yes

Check out the Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy. A great EDC choice. I love mine.

No the 2011 was started by STI if I remember correctly. To much difference in them to write in a post. Google original 2011.

Nope, while I like and have a few, I carry a Sig 365 X Legion with a green EPS Carry, which has all the Pews I need. No need for 17 more pounds for a good CCW... Now for Race gun, that's a diff story.

I have three "compact" ones. They'd all make excellent carry guns, not sure if I'd carry them though as they're heavier than my current EDC guns. And they cost a bunch more as well.

My favorite to shoot is the Dan Wesson DWX. But I like CZ pistols and the grip is much like a CZ P75

I carry a 2K11 Pro Royal and a Staccato C2. Great guns. The Kimber IMO is a better gun than the C2. Great balance and anmazing accuracy. And despite what my good friend @TEXASforLIFE claims, it is downright gorgeous.

I never really possibly actually claimed to claim about nonetheless theoretically projected i did may not like ir think they could be ugly, but they are actually an oversight to a astigmatism for a chronic macular degeneration of a pink-eyed glaucoma 2 century problem
