Anyone else have the problem.

That's why I do set days to rotate.

My local indoor range is 3 miles away; I use that for when I get the itch to just go shoot something.

But my outdoor range is a 30-minute drive out into the Everglades. So, I plan those days, I go every Tuesday. One week in handguns, the next PCC's and then the next AR's, followed by long range guns. It keeps retirement exciting. Ya, I'm probably spending about $300 to $400 a month on ammo thou. But I can't take my money with me when I die. lol
This Tuesday will be dedicated to Springfield day, testing out my 2 new Echelon Pro's.

I realized while cleaning up the pistol’s from today. I got way to many toys lately that need to be put into rotation at the range. Am I the only one with this problem?
nope..

i keep a "logbook" of all my guns..

the gun, date of purchase, date gun was built, cost with taxes, first range date, date of other range visits, cleaning, lube, type of lube, how many rounds shot that visit, whether reloads or factory new.

what i do is, many times when a gun is "due" for a range visit, i might skip that gun, in favor of another that day, (for what ever reason why).....but this is how i track my gun range days...

i also keep a "logbook" of where i went, either to the club or the public range as well as how much time at each.....

that way, i can keep up with the cost per visit per my memberships fee's....

keeping such records, goes back to my mechanic days and trucking days of keeping detailed records....
