Anyone experience this with their optics?

So I received a WestHunter hd-s 1.2-6x24 scope BNIB from SDI, and both windage and elevation adjustment knobs are stuck solid. If I use 100% of my strength, I can turn each about 1/8th of a turn. No clicks or anything like that either.

I haven't had any luck with the company since I didn't purchase it through them, and I've had it too long to return to SDI, so I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this, or know a way to troubleshoot this without damaging the scope itself?

Thanks in advance.

Look to be cheap (probably Chinese) scopes. If so, quality is, at best, questionable. I’ve got a BSA Sweet 17 on a Savage that’s darn good. Seen/had other brands that ranged from Ok to awful. Unless the adjustments have been over tightened at the end of their adjustment range I’ve no idea what could cause the condition described. I suspect you’re out of luck.

Air rifle scopes are the bottom of the heap. I have broken them with an air rifle.

Best scope you can buy for money.
Ive gone up against S&B and Leopold and out shot both of them.
