Anyone Have Actual Experience w/one of These (FN Reflex® MRD)?

While I love my Hellcat, I kind of like the idea of a hammer fired micro 9…if they’ve worked out their initial kinks. Been a year +, so I’m kind of thinking they might have fixed some initial QC issues.

I have the Reflex, but not the MRD model. They are the same, except mine isn’t optic ready.
It’s a nice little gun. It’s accurate as is, but it is the only 9mm I own that is ammo fussy. It won’t run 115gr, but it runs 124 and 147 without issues. It conceals on a small body quite well.

Small body…… guess that leaves me out…..🤪

Seriously, thanks for the input on 115gr, that’s mostly what I use.

Have you checked the FN forum? The reviews seem to be a mixed bag on the reflex. There is also a Reflex XL that might be worth checking out. https://fnamerica.com/products/pistols/fn-reflex-xl-mrd/
I didn’t check FN specifically, but I did a dr. Google on FN reflex reviews and read a lot of them. Lots of the negatives seem to be a year or so again, I think when they first hit the market, kind of like the first versions of SW UC 432/632, which after a year, the newest models seem great (at least my sample).

That’s why I asked here about real world experiences. My experience with most manufacturer forums (not so much here surprisingly) is that the amount of fanboy posts cancel out criticism posts, so you end up right back where you started 😀. See SigTalk and GlockTalk for examples!

I haven’t found that on the FN forum. They aren’t HKPro.

I have a Reflex MRD manual safety in the flat dark earth. Mines been an excellent little pistol, with, thus far, zero ammo issues in a bit over 600 res-most of which was inexpensive 115 gr ball. I’ve ran 124’s and several different SD rounds through it as well without issue. Great, light trigger. Just remember, it is a Single action hammer fired pistol (like a 1911 except the hammer is concealed). I would NOT carry one w/o a manual safety anymore than I’d carry a cocked and unlocked 1911 with the grip safety pinned. Light, crisp trigger with no safety creeps me out…

I luh-luh-luh-love mine... it has replaced my CSX (like that was hard to do), my 605 Protector and my 43x (when off-duty. On? I have no choice). Mine is FDE, It's name is Carl and likes going fishing and to car shows with me. He is usually hanging out with Ragnar, my LCP, or Greg, my SA-35.
