[Belt Fed]

Any of you have one of these and how do they work. they use 50 round FN mags. Pretty neat. i don't see a complete rifle from them. but just uppers.

Just uppers is all I've found also. Cut off the top of the mag just above the mag catch to save the spent brass.

I like the CMMG banshee too, the zeroed ones are not out yet and the dissents are about two grand.

I just bought the uppers and used the ar15 lowers

BCG looks more like a pcc carrier (9mm, 45acp, etc), but very lightweight due to cartridge design on straight blowbacks.

The carrier and bolt are a 1 piece unlike the rdb on the cmmg looking like a regular ar bcg.

I have a Gen 1.

It runs fine.

Just pop it on an AR lower & stock up on P90 mags.

It should as the carrier is the same length, but only if the bottom of the carrier is as long as full autos and not shirt like semi only. I'll check for length to see if it'll work. Give me 10 minutes or so to finish cooking dinner.

After more research...

Combining an AR-57 upper with a forced reset trigger (FRT)or a binary trigger offers rapid firing speeds, but the AR-57 bolt carrier requires custom milling or modification to accommodate the trip/trip-trip mechanics of a forced reset or binary system. Binary triggers fire on pull and release, while FRTs mechanically push the trigger forward during the bolt cycle.

With the echo2 supposedly being a binary i can test to see if it'll work? It still requires a full auto carrier and the carrier in the ar57 i have doesn't meet the criteria. I'll still confirm if it works or not?

Might be a good thing you can't put an FRT in one, the ammo is too expensive to just go BRRRRTTTT!
