Yep, same here…Talyn, the second knot instructions will not open for me.
I have used the Trilene knot for years, never failed me.
Not mine but a useful one for more than just fishing.Talyn I like your knot. It also sems one easy to teach to youngsters.
I have used Vic Dunaway's uni-knot in the Gulf for years, but it is a bit more complex to teach

Although I don't fish I do get a little notty? I use a half hitch more than anything. I use other nots, but couldn't tell you what they're called, because I don't know what they're called.

I have to admit, I used a tiny sliver of scotch tape on a regular trilene knot on my spinning reel spools with mono and flouro lines...until I quit fishing about 4 years ago.The Arbor Knot.
