Armed Civilian Gets Into Gun Fight To Save Woman From Kidnapper

I LOVE hearing these kind of stories, ESPECIALLY the head shot that ended the fight!
WHAY can we learn from this?
1. Would YOU have given the command to drop the gun?
2. Clearly this wasnt a case for a pocket pistol or not having a spare mag/reload
3. Great job of staying alert and situational awareness
4. Multiple suspects are more than likely in urban areas
5. Good guy took cover even though it was across the street adding distance to his shot

OK since no one addressed it theres NO WAY I would have said anything, let alone said the "drop the gun" nonsense.
Baby Jesus pointed a finger from Heaven and said "Kill that M Fer!". He didnt say "Ask him on a date", or "Announce yourself so he can take a shot at you". A Free Fire mission was in front of him and he almost got himself killed by acting out a scene from Adam 12, by calling out. Those days are gone, especially for a lone civilian shooter with no back up.
You see a masked assailant knock down a woman and prepare to drag her into a van--SHOOT the Fer! IF you really must say must say "drop the weapon"; do it after you shoot.

Just glad he got the guy and the woman got away.
And if you have a dinky little carry peice, those were long shots when someone is shooting at you.
