What this article doesn't state is "when" this "failed pin job test" actually occurred, although the articles date is post-DJT election.

It could have occurred during the last administration.

Lots of military type rifles sold back in the 80s had pinned and welded muzzle devices to comply with Clinton era rules and regs. Also many muzzle devices were reamed out and bayonet lugs were filed down so that either of these would not be functional.

Since the article states that the case information was gained through a FOIA request, I’d say the chances are pretty good it happened during the past administration…

I’ve been searching as well and can’t find anything. Seems that person at ATF mentioned is commonly used in cases all way to Supreme Court.

I have searched and found nothing more recent about this.

So we have a likely a POTUS 46 appointee that's sabotaging the works before...#1 - being booted from the position by the "new" designated ATF director, or #2 - taking the "early-out" retirement package due to fed govt down-sizing.

Looks like the FA News article author needs to do some more research before going "mental" on the POTUS 47 admin. & AG.

Time to remove ALL rule making authority from ANY gov. agency. If it is necessary as a "rule" then it needs to be a law passed by the people's representatives. No more unelected bureaucrat dictating to the people. Oh and no "omnibus" rules packages either. Let each stand or fall on its own merit. Give the SOBs in congress something to do to earn their keep besides useless hearing, investigations, and flying around the world on "fact finding junkets" at taxpayers' expense.
