What is the deal with these folks, when the big rush was on they was knockin em out in less than a week, now they are like turtles. Guess they are ticked off cause they don't get a tax anymore. I paid my share of them dern taxes. i have five in submission and a couple has been five weeks. I also hear they are getting real picky on approvals. i think if mine come back unapproved i'm just going to leave them as pistols. not going through this long wait again. been waiting to shoot and post pics of these until i get them approved and can put the stock and grip on. And NONE of them are black. :ROFLMAO:

I seriously dont understand why folks continue to live under slavery. I know moving isnt easy and it took me awhile too but moving away is the only acceptable response

It’s called fighting back. Yes I thought about moving to Iowa with my mom BUT it’s actually more expensive out there. Yes it bites the rotten apples but those apples come from Chicago.

I could get a thread barrel if I wanted too for my hand guns BUT what will I attach to it, a potato. Anyone that knows Illinois knows 1 of 5 free states to get goodies from. I will say this, my carry guns stay Illinois legal as my range toys stay range toys.

Guys I get the reluctance and hassle to even think about moving; but its living under oppression, and "Fighting Back" is what? Complaining? Really? It NOT fighting back. Its giving in and accepting. Its saying I dont like it but as long as they use a condom its OK..... I say this because I lived through it and yes it took me a long time to get out, so I feel the pain; but dont understand.

Its like the guy from Maryland that came into the shop and I pointed out that he could buy hi cap mags and legally take them back to Maryland; but he said, "Oh NO those things arent safe. Why would anyone need more than 10 rounds..." He had been fed the kool-aid and was truly shocked at the thought of hi cap mags....

You know it does spread right. Look at Colorado and other states around California. Supporting the groups that stand up for us besides “moving” isn’t the cure. Illinois was the last state to accept CCL permits because it was forced too. I’m thankful I live in a county where the sheriff sent a letter to the governor saying the latest thing he passed was unconstitutional and will not pass it. So “moving” isn’t the right answer either.

Personally I’m thankful I frequent places outside of Illinois that know me and understand and have a network that understands. Also the LGS I have stuff transferred to is über cool if you know what I mean. So basically the “kool aid” doesn’t flow that way in my part of the state.

The next time I move will be the last time. Until then we tolerate the asshats that run the state and do our best to make changes (voting, et al). Just because we stay doesn’t mean we’ve accepted anything. Health care issues make moving to another state hard. There are multitudes of reasons people can’t move…family obligations being foremost.
When the degree of oppression becomes intolerable, it sets a whole new set of personal priorities. Everyone has reasons for the decisions they make, and until I can actually live in someone else’s shoes, I can’t judge them.

Yes I get the leftist spread. I would never have believed Colorado would have gone gun control crazy and WTF is happening in Virginia. Yep I get al that, I just cant understand the "Oh Well" part

I hardly think the members living in blue, leftist states want it that way. What perfect state or location is it that you live in? Just so everyone knows where to go after they pack up everything they own and disrupt their entire families to live in the promised land. It just isn't so easy for most people to pick up and go. Maybe it is for you.

YES totally agree. It took me years and a divorce before I was able to move. It the "oh well" and "I dont like it but theres nothing I can do" part that I dont get. As for free states there are lots of them, some maybe even in commuting distance from the job and family in Mordor that enslaves them.

What worries me are the folks that flee those places and bring there silliness with them to polute the new places (Colorado)
