People's house next door comes too mind with them inside!

Only if they'd move would be the better answer!

I like having the flas bangs from tactical sh-it available

To keep these legal and able to be shipped without a Haz Mat charge, they are a binary mix. Im sure you could mix ahead of time (I doubt the mixture degrades); but Im not sure how good it would work on crowds. THERMITE burns super hot and melts anything in its path. On the PLUS side wather and normal fire fighting methods wont put it out. It needs to be smothered with sand.

Thermite is pretty cool especially with some fine copper powder in the mix. Once upon a time I knew someone who was a fireworks aficionado and used the diaper method to mix up their own flash powder. They even laid in a supply of German Black airfloat aluminum powder in the days when you could order it and not expect a knock on the door, but I think they flushed all that after I told them it was dangerous and illegal.

You should research the laws regarding binary explosives. You can find yourself in a heap of legal trouble if you mix a binary explosive and try to move or store it without the proper approvals and storage container for a binary explosive. They can be perfectly legal for most people to use but one mixed must be used immediately at the mixing location.

THANKS that makes sense. I know for example that is legal to own 40mm chalk rounds AND the launching cartridge BUT they can NOT be combined and stored ready to fire. I dont have any knowledge of binary stuff like Tanerite but it doesnt seem a huge leap

I'm no expert and I would recommend everyone do there own legal research on the subject. Ignorance of the law doesn't get you off the hook.

From Google, Yes, mixing, storing, or transporting thermite without the proper permits, licenses, or hazardous materials classifications is heavily regulated and often illegal under federal, state, and local laws. While the individual raw ingredients (like aluminum powder and iron oxide/rust) are legal to buy, combining them creates a regulated pyrotechnic or explosive composition

I remember them showing us Thermite grenades in basic training. They're used to destroy stuff you don't want the enemy to have. Place one on top of the engine in a vehicle and a couple of minutes later it burns completely through and drops out the bottom.
I can't imagine a civilian use for them.
