I mean seriously! When firing a hot rifle. It's best to have some TP standing by at the ready in my opinion! After all, it's hot!

The way some guys are outfitting their "Fighting rifles" it isn't too far off from that.

I don't need all that on a fighting rifle. Good sighting system, comfy stock, decent trigger, 30 Rd. mag, good to go.

Agreed. That's basically what it boils down to. My SOCOM has all kids of accessories mounted on it that I'll probably never need. But I'd have to say a good tac light mounted on a battle rifle can definitely be an asset in certain situations!
