Ok, this is going to take a while and i will have to make several post as i is not as talented as agent cliff at these long post. went across the street and took three guns, first up was the Ruger takedown. now i really like these hi viz sights. even at longer ranges i can see good. it worked perfect.

I ran 50 suppressed ammo through it and all you could hear was the bolt working with the dead air mask. i had about 26 rounds of high velocity in an open box and i ran it. it hit a little higher as you can see the hole raised up a bit. well pleased with the gun. Hang with me, got lots more to go.

Now for the unpopular stuff, i also took the Echelon. i do not like it. it has the recoil of a 45 auto and the damn trigger pinched my finger on every shot. it's accurate enough but every time i knew i was going to get a pinch and couldn't really hold it like it needed. i tried placing my finger several ways. dry firing it you do not get pinched. the snappy kick makes it do it i guess.

it's about the hardest recoiling 9mm i own. i can handle the recoil but that pinching gotta go. my dern finger is sore from it. so this gun may go on the fer sail list soon or traded in. it does feel good in the hand but that's about it. the pinching sucks. guess it's recoiling so hard it pushes the finger between that huge safety and actual trigger. either way the gun just ain't for me. I know all of you like yours i just am not one of them. it did run all 50 rounds without jamming. other than jamming my finger.lol Now if someone makes a trigger for it i may consider buying one. still if i'm going to get that much recoil i might as well shoot a 45.

Next i took the sig and good grief, another bad deal. this gun done nothing but jam and stovepipe, i really couldn't get a good group going for clearing jams. i got a good workout on that. i texted the gunsmith and sent him these pics he said bring to him.

well misfortune strikes again, i went to get up off the stool and something in my front upper leg popped and i went down. holy crap that hurt. i couldn't get up and stand. had to crawl over to the truck bed and pull myself up on it. once i got stood up it didn't hurt as bad but i knew i wasn't going to be able to sit back down so i loaded up everything. took me a while hobblin along.

So i loaded up and went back home, took a breather and took the gun to the shop, he worked with it for about an hour and ask if i wanted to come watch when he took it out every time. i said NOPE as it's about a 50 yard walk back behind the shop. i could hear it working. he finally got it and i ask what do i owe. he said nothing and him and another guy helped me get out of the chair i was in. so i went home and started cleaning up which brings be too my next post.

Now a few days ago i posted some pics of some nasty scorpio ammo, well here's some more and than goodness i used the last of that nasty crap. the pics are covered with it and all the black is supposed to be the same color as the gun. i didn't take none after cleaned as my leg was throbbin big time. that firing pin is supposed to be chrome. took a long time to get that crap off everything. i took the BCG out and just wrapped my hand around it and that's what i got. it does not want to come off easy either.

Now i had planned on taking this Ruger takedown carbon fiber 22 to shoot too. i had a prism sight ordered for it and it came in today and it's broken. when it rains it pours, ok that's my rants for the day. fixin to try and get out of this chair and take a shower. it's going to be fun i tell ya. hope i didn'y tear no cartilage or something bad. any way ya'll be good.
