Been thinking about replacing my Mossberg MC2C

Hellcat
I've been thinking about replacing my Mossberg MC2C with either the Echelon 4.0C or the Hellcat Pro for CC. I am looking at these as as a means to add an optic into my rotation. I narrowed it down to these two because they are both decent firearms, and they have good capacity while being able to conceal carry. I am leaning more towards the Echelon, due to its compatibility with multiple optics without the need for a plate. Also, it has the ability to change out the frame, which would be nice if they come out with a metal/aluminum frame. I also like the Hellcat, as it may be a little more concealable than the Echelon with decent capacity, just now sure about how it would be as far as optics choices, and if it would need plates. I have seen the reviews of each, and their pros and cons. What are your thoughts? Looking to buy within the next two months. I want to make sure my job is secure before I actually spend the money on either one, as well as a holster for them.

Have an Echeclon picked up 8/24. Very happy with the pistol. Easy shooter. Several thousand rounds no issues. Comes with optic plates (multiple optics fit) and 3 different size back straps. Easy to carry. Have shot the Hellcat. Bit more of a handful. Smaller and lighter than the Echelon. Assume they are still equipped the same out of the box.

I would try to shoot the Hellcat before purchase. From personal experience the Hellcat was the most uncomfortable gun to shoot for me. A Hi-Point was more comfortable.

Thanks for the advice, everybody. I will probably rent and test them. I am leaning more towards the Echelon, but I don't want to snub the Hellcat just yet. I do have the Shield 9 m2.0, so I don't really need another smaller gun. I know the Hellcat Pro is slightly larger and has a higher capacity, but I did purchase the optics slide for my M&P, which fits both the new Shield Plus and the older Shield that I have. So, probably will be going with the Echelon.

Your forgetting the obvious choice, highly recommended by @10mmLife & @Belt Fed 😬😬😬😬

I have a Hellcat Pro. Great gun. I have thought about picking up an Echelon myself.

I will say, my daughter has the Sig 365 and I dare say I actually like it a little better than the Hellcat. Now she has the smaller (normal original size) and I would need the bigger, but, I do think it's a bit better than the Hellcat
