Best bipod for hunting with an Ar-10?

Just got my first Ar-10 and want to find a good bipod for when I’m in the tree stand.

I like the magpul as it is shorter than most and extends out to 12” with the 3 notch extensions

OK, so why do you want to use a bipod when you're in those types of stands? Standing or sitting a bipod doesn't make much sense. Sling up since that's a stable shooting position.

I just don't see a bipod working in a tree stand.

I love a bipod, I’ll be the first to admit. With bipods there are several options. Don’t skimp on those options. Atlas, Harris and the MagPul to name a few. I’m happy with the latest offering of the MagPul. As Tayln stated hunting out of a ladder stand, if it has a shooting rail I would not see the benefit of a bipod. If you don’t have a shooting rail, shooting sticks (BogPod) or something along those lines would better serve you in stabilizing your rifle.

There are several companies that make attachments that attach to your stand to allow the use of a monopod or bipod. Primos is one.
