Beware the (D) - Sitting Senators Want YOU to Register and Continually Reregister Your Guns

Considering the events in Boston & Brown University the US "Green Card" program needs to be totally revamped to include;
  1. Each applicant needs to be severely vetted,
  2. The 10-year life span of a green card needs to be cut in half,
  3. A Green card can only be renewed once, but can be extended if the holder has begun and will complete the citizenship process within 5 more years,
  4. No 2A rights since they aren't citizens,
  5. Immediate revocation if involved in any crime above a Class C and/or Gross misdemeanor, and aiding and abetting another in the commission of a Class C and/or Gross misdemeanor,
  6. Immediate revocation if involved in, or aiding and abetting in a Criminal Traffic Offense(s),
  7. Immediate revocation for regular and reoccurring civil infractions that become problematic, and any domestic violence incidents, and
  8. Involvement in financial/monetary and health-care crimes.

Speaking of citizenship, no dual citizenship. Pick a lane and stay with it. James Cameron (who is a serial plagiarizer - JMO) announced he became a New Zealand citizen after living there for 13 years. Fine, now if you want to come here and make a movie then get a visa. Oh and no guns. I know that Jeremy Irons has to go through that process if he comes from GB to here to make a movie. Make Cameron follow the damn rules.

Agreed.

BTW - William Shatner (aka Cpt. Kirk) has never gotten US citizenship because, according to an interview with Canadian media, he was afraid to.

So he lives here in CA & his horse farm in KY for 50+yrs , but maintains an apartment in Toronto to retain his Canadian citizenship.

All about taxes IMO. He would pay less in the US since this is his state/country of hire to make movies. If he had the same assets and salary in Canada he'd be paying through the nose I bet.

Registration is merely foreplay for confiscation.
