Biden Calls on Congress to Ban “Assault Weapons,” Criminalize Private Transfers.

I suspect if he keeps pushing, these items WILL go to SCOTUS, and they WILL smack them all down as unconstitutional.

They've been toeing the line for decades, pushing little by little but not enough to get SCOTUS involved. This administration may very well cross that line, and if it happens before they pack the Court it will likely (hopefully) be the end of all these "safety" laws once and for all.

I already wrote my congressman to ask him to vote against the ban and forced buybacks. That's a terrible reason because 1) it won't be effective at anything, 2) SCOTUS will strike it down as soon as possible using existing and long-standing precedent, and 3) good God, who thinks that won't end without bloodshed?

Is very hard dealing with their ignorant single sided acts, thoughts on gun control, gun function and types in general.

Colored by confusion?
Paint it pink or blue it's a toy?
Paint it black, it's evil? Look at black clothing and black uniforms for example?
Good, evil there? Which is which? Hard telling by the colors sometimes, huh?

Since coloring by numbers and coloring books don't seem to work for them? You'd think they'd see the HUGE flags that with the influx of recent firearm related sales quite a few people, millions, are in disagreement with current administrations thoughts and wishes? Next flag may be smoke signals?

Bottom line?
Proper firearm education should be brought back since it is our Second Amendment and is a better solution.

Maybe we'll get luck and tomorrow's headline will read, "Conservatives Call on Biden to Read the Constitution". Biden has a long history of plagiarizing other people's work. We should just give him a free pass to start quoting the 2nd Amendment whenever he wants. If his mind is fading as fast as it appears, we may be able to convince Biden that he actually wrote the 2nd Amendment and needs to stand by it.

I like that idea, unfortunately for us, he (biden) is just a mouthpiece for his dem/progressive/anti-USA handlers.

Something that must be kept in mind that is profoundly different with Biden's administration and most any others within the past few decades is that he and we know his is/was designed as a one term administration. Why is that important to know? Well, since he is resigned to accept this one term he doesn't have to be the least concerned about burning any bi-partisan bridges during this 4 years. He can, and will, run roughshod over anyone who contests him and worse than that he'll be repaying those who put him in the office regardless of how it sets with the voters...... the opposition voters anyway.

He can do just about anything he wants to do or anything he's put up to doing for the other side. Witness the fact he's already signed something near 45-50 EO's in less than a month. Now he has claimed on several occasions that "he's not making law, he's only ending bad policy". That's pretty hard to swallow unless you're in the market to buy a certain bridge. For at least the next four years they're as good as 'making law'. Yes they can all be rescinded in the next four, but only if a conservative is elected. If another liberal is elected for a two term administration that'll be twelve years then they're as good as law. Just consider the damage to the country just from the lax immigration policies he's put into place already.

Unlike most other POTUS's of recent years who all thought they would run for a second term and had to be very careful during the first term, he's totally content to step aside in 4 years and make room for (most likely) Kamala.
This in itself makes it very likely he will at least try to implement some amount of gun control legislation during this first term. And if he finds he can't get it done through legislation, he'll throw out every last rule in the senate, some of which he's contemplating already, pack the circuit courts and the SCOTUS, and do it by way of liberal 'legislate from the bench' judges. And as a very last resort at some point he'll use the EO's to the nth degree.

We must all stay vigilant and use every legal means available to resist him and any gun control regulations he or his appointed representatives might try to force on us.

Well said, Thanks Joe
