Biggest Threat????

I read an article on this, describing how some think Gun Manufactures are very large companies with lots of capital that allows them to easily take on law suits. Facts are, that when hit by multiple suits, the financial burden is overwhelming, causing them to potential having to close up shop. I know there were issues with mismanagement over at Remington, but the law suit against them from the Newton Conn. shooting (because a Remington Bushmaster firearm was used), didn't help them stay in business.
If a bill does get passed by both Houses and signed into law, I think the only chance would be if the Courts rules against it. Otherwise it would be a "Dark" time for 2A rights.

The shooter at Newtown SandyHook elementary did not use the BushMaster, it was however in the vehicle that he drove there.

I remember the sheriff saying there were hundreds of spent 223 cartridges littering the school floor. Below is an excerpt of articles linked below indicating he left the shotgun on the passenger seat (other article say trunk), and took the Bushmaster and pistols into the school. I can't see Remington getting sue for a firearm that wasn't use.

All of the firearms Adam took to Sandy Hook were semiautomatic weapons with detachable ammunition magazines. As with his Bushmaster, Adam equipped his handguns with high-capacity 30-round magazines. Adam elected to leave his Saiga tactical shotgun on the passenger seat of his car, entering the school with just his Bushmaster rifle and handguns.

Another 2 articles indicating he used the Bushmaster (if you think the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence above is bias):

Sad stuff no matter what was used...☹️

A few bad actors shouldn't reflect negatively on the large population of law abiding people.

That was all a lie. the captain of the State Police that was a good friend of mine told me directly what was used in the attack. There was even a Mossberg shotgun in the car but that gun was not the type of gun Connecticut wanted to ban so they didn’t go after Mossberg.
