With the cost at 1 million per I'd find a cheaper way to stay off grid. Plus maintaining costs. Even with the 20% energy whatever rebate it still isn't cheap and not sure if the 20% still applies

The Turbines belong to the utilities provider for Boulder/Aurora.

The utility gave land owners a choice, sign a lease that would pay off their land or they'd condemn the land through Eminent Domain and take it for nothing.

The wind farm was here before me and it will be here long after I'm gone.

I've decided not to bother myself over it.

Eminent Domain is the biggest bunch of BS on planet earth! they'd still have to prove it before they can use it.

It's not that hard to blend into your environment. I'm simple minded and don't want to clutter my brain with my daily attire. I will be like 75% of my coastal community. Behaviour seems to always attract my attention.

IMO if you're wearing plate carriers everywhere, ya may be a little paranoid. and probably asking for trouble. especially wearing them on the outside like the dude in the pic.

There is one good thing about the Turbines.

As mentioned previously the energy company is going to put the Turbine on your land one way or the other but they do pay you handsomely and if I understand it correctly it's usually enough to pay off your mortgage. So you don't have to worry about losing your family ranch.
