I’d say so. I bet a million bucks I pay more in union dues than they do and my union blows. I’d quit the union right now if I could. We’re lucky if we get 3% a year and every contract our insurance premiums go up and we lose a holiday or something. Our union is in house too. Meaning the union bosses are company employees. Our union does NOT provide any of our benefits.

My base salary is like 90-ish.

Sounds like a firing situation to me. Just like Reagen with PATCO. I realized not gov’t workers, but this is why all the military toys are so expensive and take so long to build. Unemployment is too good for these AHs.

I belonged to the Arkansas Teachers union for almost 40 years, Never did we ask for some crazy stuff like that. we usually got a 2% raise if that. A few years we got nothing. a lot of times it was over benefits. we had very good benefits. right before i retired they were getting crazy with the demands. but nothing to the tune of 40% glad i got out when i did.
