Boot knife

Condition1

Operator
Who carry’s a boot knife? I usually carry a minimum of 3 knives and boot carry is one of them. If you don’t boot carry show what knife is in your pocket. But I want to know if there is anyone besides me that still does boot carry. Chris Reeve Backpacker and the lanyard is not pink it rose, my granddaughter picked that color out.

It's my Dun Dee carry, inside my shirt on my back between my shoulder blades, it's only a 16 inch blade by Mossy Oak.

These two are a steal on Amazon, very sharp, holds an edge, handle is really nice.....leather, the small one goes for a boot/ankle knife, the bigger one stays in place in the front jeans pocket, sometimes it makes the girls smile....

I don't, but have thought about it.
I feel like it wouldn't be comfortable, and I can't stand it when my feet aren't comfortable
My current EDC knife is a S&W my wife grabbed me for Christmas. Works great for every day in the city
If I was spending time in the woods, it would be somethign different.
Actually heading out next Saturday, will probably carry my Buck 110 and my Leatherman.
I'll also have my get home bag which has a small machete and I forgot what brand fixed blade

I wear boots everyday and I attach the knife’s kydex sheath with an ulticlip they work great. It’s not bothersome to me I forget I even have it on. The S&W knives are good knives and you can’t go wrong with a Buck 110. My get home bag has a large knife attached to it also. I’m working on a cheat rig for when I go out in the woods. I have mountains all around me and I like go hiking. The chest rig will have what I would need if something happens and I have to spend the night outside. It will stay in my 4Runner so I can grab it when I head out.

Not a knife guy myself. Never had the desire to learn when I was young and now I’m way too old to be playing with a sharp stick while trying to defend myself. My retired jarhead son totes a tactical knife all the time-and he knows “how”. I do carry a knife all the time but it’s not a defensive tool (at least not in my hands). Pistol? Yeah, I’m covered there. I’d say for those who do carry a knife the same rules apply-know How. Having a weapon of ANY sort no more means you’re able to use it anymore than owning a piano means you can play it.

Agree and 4 years as an 11B I learned a few things. My main style is from Micheal Janich ( he make Chuck Norris look like a Boy Scout) his style is damnithurtsalot. From empty hand, defense knife, counter knife, and improvised weapon.
