I had an issue this summer they refused to send a gun to an FFl because they thought my one gun was a straw purchase. I used it to order a gun my duagjyet wanted do
To give her Husband. My daughter obviously had a different name that the gun was shipped to an FFL to and my e mail had my first and last name. Funny it wasn't flagged a few years ago for that but the guys name that was on it and getting sent to an FFL was suspect!
Even a buddy that works as an IOI in the ATF said they go way overboard on their company stuff
So they can eat a bag of &$)- as far as I am concerned

Things happen. I wasn’t sure at first but willing to try. Personally I’m sick and tired of the gun shops around me for whatever it’s worth. There’s one in Iowa I used to go all the time is really going down hill.

With the current push in ATF regarding straw buys, I can understand why they are tight on varying names and such.

I think they have 3 stores and 2 of them have ranges. I just wish it wasn’t a drive for me.

i've used gb also, but don't remember how long it took or me to receive it? most of my buys comes down to 2 or 3 places. 1 is in ND and the other is in FL..............the 3rd is maybe in GA or SC. seems like those always had the better offers/prices. ever so often guns.com ended up being the better price? i will say the more i buy the faster they ship! very good experience with guns.com and easy to get ahold of for questions and NOT have to wait on emails for response(s)
The funny thing is it isn’t the ATF the company is just doing corporate things
I get it and if it works for hih good. I am fortunate that we have a couple decent gun shops here

The ATF is extremely hot on straw buying, and a company that sells as many as Bud's is under massive scrutiny.
The ATF is very attentive to shops near the border, big cities, Chicago, New York, Seattle, Los Angeles etc.

I was just looking at them and since I’m in Illinois. They won’t ship anything with 15+ magazines. Buds at least won’t ship the magazines. Which is fine with me. I have a few extra magazines that fit it.

I know a bunch of companies that won’t ship anything that isn’t intended for the person that is buying it (firearms). I have sold some of my stuff to a friend and did a transfer through his gun shop.

It depends on what I get, depends on where I go. I do live in Illinois (100 miles from Chicago along I80) and it’s nice to know what my options are. Not everyone will ship a brand new full size CZ SP01 to Illinois (yes the don’t add the magazines but not an issue for me). My list is really small on who I sell my stuff to and I still make them go through an FFL to do a 4473 (won’t budge on it)
