Ok I need the real scoop on this rifle. I’m buying one and I want 6.5 CM. That gives me 2 options. CA compliant standard poly stock. And the precision loaded rifle. I live in Oregon so I can have either as of now. Springfield page only mentions the stock. I noticed the muzzle break instead of flash suppressor. And I’ve seen that verified on a Reddit thread. But that person said that was only difference….A mag that only holds 10, I assume that. But I seen on a website selling the rifle mention that the magazine is not detachable until you separate the upper from trigger assembly….i see no mention of that on Springfield site. I can’t seem to find a consistent answer from the sites selling it.What is the deal here. I’m ordering the gun from a sports store. I want to make sure I don’t get stuck with something I can’t remove the mag normally. Anyone have the 6.5 cm M1A bought recently to confirm.
