California is Taking Things Too Far

First you have a bill which would force you to register each gun annually at whatever cost they come up with. Now if that were not enough, along comes a bill which requires homeowners and renters to report their guns as a policy declaration. This could have unintended consequences: Either rate increases based on some algorithm which states that guns in the home increase the likelihood of an incident that would require payout or, lower rates for those with no guns as the pencil pushers deem the defenseless dupe a better risk.

And before someone says “don’t report” which is an option based on their not making it mandatory, it comes with the risk that in the event of a loss, a claim could be denied for having failed to report.

I am convinced that the majority of the folks in Sacramento will not be happy until the only folks with guns are their bodyguards and the criminal element that does not give AF about laws.
