One of my best friends who passed away some time back was a benchrest shooter, and used to shoot golf balls at distances beyond 500 yards all day long, usually only took him 1 or 2 shots to hit them, so I would imagine he could do this with no effort at all

I have shot to 1800 yards successfully but it wasn't at a solo can. I shot a 24inch x 24inch steel plate. 4whots to hit it and 7 of 10 followup shot rang it. The rifle was a Sako TRG-S in .300 Win Mag.
