WhenCanik first started appearing on the shelves they were at a really low price. it was a well made handgun at a really good price. they sold like hotcakes.

I have noticed over the years that they have gone way up in price as they got more popular. they were the first Turkish guns to be sold around here. That combat is 1100 bucks here, about 4 to 500 more than that Rival i posted. only big difference is the compensator. that and the name Taran Tactical.

It's a nice looking gun and a good shooter i imagine but way overpriced for a turkish handgun.

I've shot the TP9 full size, and one of the MEET compact models. Both were very nice pistols that I'd be pleased to own, if I needed them of course. The Taran touches should be epic enhancements, at a reasonable price point. IMO.

I haven't' shot one yet, but knowing Canik's and Taran Tactical's reputations, I'd venture to guess there aren't many $1000 pistols that are better
