Can’t even get rid of my Glock 45 MOS with GPT, a Swampfox Liberty II, and optics height sights…

I’m trying to get rid of my GSSF pistol, as I’m no longer wanting to be associated with Glock and my LGS won’t even give me an offer not to offend me… Yeesh… I gave the value it was worth and my asking price, which was fair in terms of value, expecting that I’d get more along the lines of the low side (taking a small loss)… I just want to subsidize my next purchase. What I wanted was even a loss on it now that I think about it... I hate the thought of using Gunbroker, as it would be a pain logistically or putting it on consignment, which frequently takes a while.

You may be able to list it on one of the forums (e.g. Glock Talk) and find a buyer. I have no personal experience with this option and it may be a royal PITA. Armslist would also be another possibility.

At the moment it's looking like Glock's decision to change their line isn't coming up roses, to a large extent. That's why I would try to target the fanboy market.

Used guns are a buyer's market at current. It appears it will remain that way for the foreseeable future.

not all gun message board sites, "trust" a new member.....that is selling anything.

I'm aware of that. Some require a minimum number of posts to sell. Unless the sale is urgent, the time investment would be worth it to me.

As an added plus, you get to hear from all the delusional Glockists. Would be interesting to hear the arguments about how good/bad his choices are. If he added a compensator it would really start the pot boiling...🤣

most used gun prices offered are at about 60% of the stores retail pricing, not MSRP from the manufacturer.

this is why i do not "fancy out" any of my guns, i keep the stock..easier to sell

best to keep it for a while longer.

or just take a huge hit, if you are that desperate to be rid of it.
It was specifically a match pistol, and my goal is to sell it to a Glock fanboy. Also, I’d not trust people on any boards, but looks like I’m putting it up for consignment where they have GSSF matches. At this point, I am ashamed of any Glock fanboy, they care more about a company than the rights of all Americans. Glock betrayed all gun owners with them kowtowing to the blue states with the V generation. I wish I didn’t get into Glock… I have wasted so much money. The only things I actually like of theirs are the G42 and G48 MOS, but I’m sure there are better equivalents that I don’t know of, since I more latched on to Glock’s products out of more familiarity than anything else.

The market is flooded with people selling there Glocks, ever think of trading it for something you want? I’m keeping mine, Glock didn’t do anything that S&W, Ruger, Springfield didn’t do to be honest, I was ticked over there decision, but Glock is a great gun nevertheless, first polymer gun I ever shot and then owned back in 1996.

Gun Stites generally offer 60% of your guns value. As far as Gkick it’s probably more to do with they have inventory so they are hesitant in taking Gkick for any political temper people are saying. (They generally get over themselves in short order 1993 Ruger 1999 S&W 2017 Springfield Rock River yada)

A state gun forum had a Gkick 19 COA listed for 1,600 and has sale pending.

So I’d suggest listing on a gun forum or Gunbroker

Good luck

seems short-sided of you to put any blame on Glock, for trying to not be put out of business.

what or who will you blame next, when the 2A people demand another gun maker to make changes, or face a total and complete shut down..??

why don't you just sell ALL your guns, ammo, and if you have it, reloading equipment, and get into Barbie doll collecting instead..???

and when you think about it, Glock IS thinking about the gun rights of people, by trying to stay in business, rather than to be shut down.

Yeah, but this is how I realized that Katherine Glock isn’t a gun owner, but a businesswoman and a playmate who was waiting on the old man to croak to inherit everything… I have no need for it because I’m done with GSSF and my RXM checks the box for a crossover sized pistol, as I will have the new grip tomorrow. The lesson should have been learned from everyone else, and it is obvious that you can’t negotiate with the grabbers who want the Second Amendment removed from the Constitution in its entirety.

blah..blah..blah..

blame everyone for your woes for not being able to sell a gun that you own, that YOU THINK is worth more than the gold in FT. Knox..

it ain't gonna happen, that you get your price......and if you say you did..??

i'd not believe you.

Cope and seethe fangirl… Be like Ronnie Barrett and tell California to f-off! That and Glock wasn’t even paying for the lawsuits (that and PLCAA would protect them) and FPC and GOA were paying for their legal defense.

No matter what gun you try to sell to a gun shop, they will hurt yer feelings It's not just Glock. shoot, don't worry about what Glock did. just shoot the dern thing. no sense in losing money on it cause of what happened. but if you must insist on getting rid of it i will give you 100 bucks for it and pay shipping. 😁

I’m trying to subsidize my next purchase, I actually made an offer at a loss, it is honestly looking like Glock done messed up bad and it isn’t sellable.

Once had a realtor in Arizona tell me that a swimming pool doesn't add value to a house, it just makes it easier to sell it.

The same logic goes for a lot of things. Cars and guns head that list. Yes, triggers, pins, sights all will help sell the gun to some. A large part of the potential buyer pool doesn't really care all that much about such things.

Unless your pistol checks all my boxes, your mods aren't going to influence my decision. I'm not interested in a 45 for unlimited competition. Not impressed with the GPT. Tall sights are a nice backup, but we choose fiber optic fronts. I prefer a 2MOA dot for competition. Not that your pistol is bad, it's just not for me. I'm not alone here.

There may be someone who shoots unlimited who will jump at the chance to buy your pistol. Overall, the market for your pistol is pretty limited, though. The best chance to find the right buyer is to put it in front of as many people as possible.
