Chamber Safety Flags

And never underestimate a trainee's ingenuity to circumvent your safety measures
I spent the summer as an ROTC instructor on M102s at Fort Lewis.

We put red tape on everything that was considered to be a critical safety feature. Red tape on the collimator, red tape on the Gunner's sight and red tape on the limit Stakes.

When the ROTC Cadets came under the net the very first thing we told them was "Do not touch anything under this net that is marked in RED unless you are specifically instructed to do so.

It's like all they heard was touch and red because that's the first thing they did was try to touch the red things.
