Changing back to Glock

Had an issue with carrying my full (compact) P07. So I'm going back to Glock. But only for summer carry since my SAO FN Reflex won't be allowed.

In lieu of having my 43x milled for a red dot I have ordered a Glock 48 MOS and all of the other accoutrements: TLR-7 X Sub, Swampfox micro red dot, taller sights, holsters, mags....

It's set up with most of the Gen 5 upgrades so it should be nice.

For what its worth there are Glock OEM 15 round mags for the 43x and I suppose the 48

It sounds like you've got a plan. Let us know how it all works out. :)

Thank you for your indulgence,

I don't care what anyone says, they are very "reliable" under any conditions. Great choice.
AND generally cheaper than a lot of other Tier One brands. So are their mags Our Gen 6 Glocks are about $50 cheaper than out Sigs Springfields and S&Ws. Walthers and HKs arent even close. Plus all the new Glocks are come milled for red dots

I hate the poly glock mags no matter the brand! There are steel mags available at decent pricing unlike the early steel mags that were $150-200 fir 17 rounders. I have 7 gen4's in 17, 31, 22, 20, 40, 21 & 41 and recently bought 2 gen3's (20C & 21C. C are the factory ported pistols). I missed out on the 31C😭

You do realiE that the factory Glock mags are poly over metal, right?

Yes it’s Glock but I still don’t have a thing for them (even though I own a G23.5). My CZ P10C works just fine along with a few others. Yes the magazines for everything else cost a little more but worth the price in my opinion. The Glock magazines are junk in my book (had a 43X before the G23.5) because of the plastic over the metal creates a sharp edge. The G23.5 magazines are a pickle to put in 13 rounds and all the rest don’t do that.

Im not sure HOW to respond to that, except to say I hate rhubarb....

OR maybe, "I hate to hate the things I hate; but the things I hate, I hate so great...."

Good deal. Shoot what YOU like

I just don't like the poly mags regardless of brands. Glock in general is fine, but not the mags. I can't really say why I'm not a fan although they work or it's just a feel of them? Just never liked them
might be a subconscious thing that being "plastic", they will break if they hit the floor.

the only 1 downside i see to the glock mags, is that i cannot use one of these, clipped to my belt.......which i have 1, that i bought when i carried my Hellcat, with of course, a metal magazine.

Im just wondering IF you ever had a OEM Glock mag fail?

Youre certainly more than welcome to spend $40+++ on metal mags for some other gun; but I dont get the complaining about a PROVEN design that significantly cheaper
