Charging handle

Good morning, everybody.I hope everybody's doing well. I have a springfield, armory, saint victor in a five and a half inch barrel. Can anybody suggest a charging handle that will complement my firearm. Every time I shoot with it, I feel like it's blowing gases towards my left eye.

Those are the only 2 I know of. I do have several of the radian's and maybe 2 pri's. As far as gas goes I'm a lefty shooting right-handed rifles/ar's so I haven't noticed any blowback. 8" is the shortest pcc i have and 8.5" in rifle cartridges.

For the record, the two piece upper and lower allow gas that forces the bolt back escapes between the two halves. I fail to understand how a different charging handle will stop that.

It diverts gas to a different area, of course it won't divert 100% of it but they do work. i have a few. now if your upper and lower have a lot of slop then yes you get more gas. a better AR has tighter halves.

You really notice a difference when you run suppressed. i have three or four different name brand ones. they are a bit more expensive than the regular ones.

I do not run suppressed. I've tried several ambidextrous charging handles none made the escaping gas less. Both of my AR's fit so tight that the little red "wedge" cannot be used, I gave it away.
You do you, I'm not here to say it's a waste of time. IME I personally didn't find a difference between factory. I do love the the ambidexterity.
One is an A2 H-Bar standard sights non-removable carry handle.
The second is an M4 16" barrel with full top rail and M-lok floated guard with a LPVO.

When you're a left-handed shooter shooting right-handed AR's you can tell even non-suppressed. It forces it downward (radian type sd)into the lower unlike the pri that has a channel to move it out the handle only 1 direction
