Hi,
On my way to the range today I stopped by my local Turning Point office, dressed in all my Turning Point regalia.
For days folks have been stopping by, planting flags, leaving flowers, cards, signs, balloons, paying their respects, and encouraging one another.
Folks filter in and out, usually there are about a dozen folks on the premises. Some linger longer than others. While there are several vigils in the area, my family plans to attend one on Tuesday at a neighborhood park. I was quite pleased at all the young people there paying their respects.
I brought a small flag and printed a card. Mrs. BassCliff had dropped by earlier and left flowers.
Isaiah 2:12 ~ Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord Himself, is my strength and my defense; He has become my salvation.
It was a very solemn experience, until some jerk driving by in a car yelled, "F--- YOU!" I yelled back, "Bless you!" There were lots of scripture and prayerful thoughts to honor Charlie.
This country needs a revival, a renewal of hearts and minds. I pray the Spirit moves in powerful ways.
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff
