even though a dolt can run for office and get in (Omar included) ...i strongly believe that ONLY AMERICAN BORN people should hold office.

not this bull crap of being a foreigner and THEN becoming a U.S. Citizen.

if that's the way a person can become president by being AMERICAN BORN, than so should ALL public and government offices should be, INCLUDING...judgeship....on/in ANY court in America.

I’ve NEVER watched late night TV and won’t start now, Disney is bringing back Kimmel because they reported loosing 4 billion dollars when he was taken off the air, good.

Not like a civilian outside their business's conduct rules.

If you're in active service you don't have the right to say what you want in public according to the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Code of Conduct and DoD directives.

In the first...
  1. Conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline..
  2. Conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman, and
  3. Contemptuous speech.
The Second only applies to being a POW

The Third - DoD directives...
  1. Political Activities: Active duty personnel are prohibited from engaging in partisan political activities and must be cautious about social media posts that could imply endorsement of a candidate or cause.
  2. Outside Activities: Regulations govern outside employment, teaching, writing, or other activities to prevent conflicts of interest or an appearance of impropriety.
  3. Social Media: Service members must ensure their social media posts do not bring discredit upon themselves or their branch, and they must identify any personal opinions as their own.
Most of the third have similarities to agencies directives that apply to Federal employees.

And the consequences for military members are...

Violations of these rules can result in disciplinary actions under the UCMJ, and for serious offenses, a member could be separated from service.

I haven't really watched late night TV since Jay Leno. I watched a little Falon until he became totally lefty. Nobody will be as great as Carson.

It seems Sinclair will continue to keep Kimmel off the air for its affiliates. I'm not sure about Nexstar.

Sadly, i suspect this has been post-disaster engineered and Kimmyl'l probably get a belated ratings boost.

The people who weren't watching him before his publicity-bonanza can't quit watching him now. And now, he's a hero to the 23-year-old know-it-alls who suddenly know who he is

Oh he will go right back to being a dick. He’ll get a ratings boost for a week tops. ABC will cancel his show by the end of the year. The left will still blame Trump.

well, Sinclair and Nexstar that own tv stations in my area, will, not broadcast his show, they announced.

so myeah, he will get "some ratings", but not as much as if those 2 media companies refuse to broadcast, to a larger audience.

i just heard on the radio talk show, youtube will carry his show.
