Classic car enthusiasts step right in

not a F-or-D or a de-oh gee person, but do like the 60's to early 70's cars of both. i found 1 of these in a town i drive by a lot. i need to stop and ask if it's for sale. it looks very close to this pic as it is a falcon..i care less if it's original or ever stays that way, but wouldn't mind having this bad boy! i'm pretty sure it's a falcon and not a fairlane.

Reminds me of east Austin in the 80's. Sweet Ride!

Nice Vintage Bronco showed up at our facility a few years back. Coyote powered of course.View attachment 93483View attachment 93484View attachment 93485View attachment 93486View attachment 93487
my grandparents have had many broncos over the decades and 2 have been the (and still have 1 w/302) of the topless (p/u bed) models. i'd have too check the year model. original red body w/white top cab. iirc, it's removable. 3-speed column shift. i would NOT want to put big hp in 1 of those w/o doing extensive suspension work and maybe a wide body kit for better stability!

wish i still had my classic (not all original) '65 stingray. can't find any pics, but here's a descriptive lo

all black w/silver 427 hood (just the cowl)
black interior
4-speed muncie
~3.70 rear
350 (no 327mfi 🤬)
custom wheels (don't remember the brand)
i added 4-piston ss calipers6
fixing the e-brake was a pita as the very small fit inside the rotors (drum inside the rotor)
finder flares on all 4

Çoupe ? Convertible ?
convertible of coarse............2 years of working on it and less than 3 months after finishing it i wrapped my a$Z if fiberglass going airborne that ended upside down.........glad i WASN"T wearing a seatbelt..........so much for seatbelts saves lives............seatbelt killed my brother, but saved my father and i. i was in 3 serious wrecks where i didn't have a setbelt on............walked away from 2 and 1 was an ambulance ride and no internal injuries and no broken bones. blood........oh ya....stitches needed...oh ya. i've been told by several surgeons that wearing a seatbelt with my neck condition and airbags going off will kill me...then i told them my stories about the 3 previous accidents. between the metal plates and screws i'm literally screwed by an airbag..........probably safer slipping in the shower and living 🤣 . i'm extremely defensive when it come to my neck! people don't want to find out what 'll do too protect it!

I don’t know if considered a classic yet but it’s old . Love y’all cars really cool

My brother's Galaxy 500 had a 390ci in it. When it was rebuilt it became a 401ci maybe, 40? Something anyway. It would get it! Unfortunately someone hit it hard while parked on the street and it bent the frame and crinkled the drivers side door from the rear end impact. He was more than upset, the motor never hit 750 miles after the rebuild. I must say, he was more than happy when a guy bought the motor and transmission, he almost made money 🤑
If it was bored .60 over it was a 401CID . .30 over would have been a 395CID and .40 over would be a 397CID.

i found a stack of old pictures, finally.

1998 Honda ACE Shadow Tourer 1100 cc..water cooled, the only add-ons i had them do was the visors on the running lights and headlight, crash bars, and chromed radiator cover

the green is a bit darker than the Indian bike in an earlier posting, but it was taken in the shade, not bright sunlight..the green was called.."jade green", and the white was "ivory..

there is a back story to this bike as well, below the picture.

the back story is, the dealership owner also had hot rods. he had a car, can't recall anything about it, and he had it painted like the bike, cuz he liked the colors...

when i saw the bike, and they had red/white combo and a red/white combo, the green caught my eye better.

the dealer owner thanked me for buying the bike he wanted to keep for himself...lol....lol

very smooth riding bike.......

Yeah Corvettes have long been a problem with me. Here is my 62 with the Thunderbird in the background. And my Camaro. I told you I was without adult supervision and with a suit and tie job the cars came easy!

Always lusted for a 62 Vette…had a 57 and 59. 57 had a 265, and the 59 a 283. Drove the latter back and forth from Phoenix to Quantico and back. Then Phoenix to Ft. Sill, then on to Pendleton. Frayed it for a Jeep Gladiator…stupid decision. Along the way drove a Porsche 365 C ragtop, a TR-7, and a Volvo 1800ES. Later on a 78 Vette, but that was a dog!!!

Javbike, with 60 in the rear view mirror I am down to the Backdraft Cobra and the '73 Four speed L-82 Corvette shown at the left in my avatar. Should have kept everything, but who has the room? I have only listed two cars for sale over the years. Everything else has gone away because I was out and about in the car and somebody that saw it wanted it more than I did. Lots of memories, lots of fun. But we have not even scratched the surface of all the fun vehicles that have slipped thru my grasp! Here is a Lotus, an MG Midget in the corner, a Ninja and something else in the garage I can't make out. Probably a 73 Mustang convertible.

The 67 289 Mustang has Mopar wheels on it because I was restoring a 71 Challenger Convertible (factory purple car!) and the wheels with nice radials were a straight bolt on for the bias ply tires on the car when I bought it. Notice the 66 Mustang ahead of it.
