Classic car enthusiasts step right in

I was going to get a GTO hood for this 68 LeMans and turn it into a GTO clone, because even in the late 80's GTO's were getting too expensive to beat on. And so the thread drift really begins.....

My current Classic car is actually a fairly modern low production regular cab short bed Toyota Tundra with a few modifications....
Nope. I was mistaken because my 2007 is not old enough to be considered a classic, it's a future classic.

However, my 2002 4WD V8 SR5 regular cab long bed Tundra is about to reach classic status because it will be 25 years old in two short years.

This rare model already has a cult following and mine rolled past 200,000 miles yesterday afternoon.

Thats in great shape ! Nice 👍

My 92 Ford F150 had dual tanks. Where is that option these days? I could take on fuel and would not have to weight down the rear of the truck in the winter. Fuel injected 302 V8 pre-coyote. I got 22 miles per gallon on the highway...great truck. Should have kept that one.

not a F-or-D or a de-oh gee person, but do like the 60's to early 70's cars of both. i found 1 of these in a town i drive by a lot. i need to stop and ask if it's for sale. it looks very close to this pic as it is a falcon..i care less if it's original or ever stays that way, but wouldn't mind having this bad boy! i'm pretty sure it's a falcon and not a fairlane.

Well, I stopped by to check what the car was as I thought it was a falcon, but turned out to be a '65 thunderbird and for sale. I haven't called the number yet, but will!

I'm not a Ford person, but love the older Ford and dodge cars.....well gm also! Anything older than '72 especially! Maybe up to '75 depending on vehicle.

Are we talking about the good ole days? Waooo. it began with a 49 Plymoth coupe, then they fell in place; '55 Chevy, 57 and two 56 Chevys, a '58 Jag XK120, a dozen VW bugs (autocross) '67 Mustang GTA, Volvo 145 in Germany, a Lotus Europea, a Mini Cooper, a '72 Vette, 62 Bug Eye Sprite, then a TR4A, A 240Z, VW Bus, various Dodge and Ford pickups thrown in, Chevy Blazer, Bronco II was a good one, and I'm forgetting some, then there were daily drivers not mentioned. The one classic I've always kicked myself for not getting was a '58 silver Merc. Gullwing with red interior, I remember the exact spot it was on at the Chevy dealership used car lot in 1967, my dad just wouldn't go for it! Yes, I like cars!

73 with the L-82 small block and a four speed. Interestingly, the high revving L-82 was actually more expensive than the big block. Last year for the chrome bumpers out back and the new sleek nose. The car I wanted in High School but could not afford! I also had a 62 when I was younger and I should have kept that one! My Camaro and Thunderbird in the background. Suit and tie job, but no wife. So lacking in adult supervision I bought guns and cars and motorcycles!
