Colt 1911 — The Name Says it All

I love older Colts, but you couldn’t give me a recent manufacture model.
Had a LW Commander that was horribly inaccurate, just plain sloppy barrel fitment. My buddy's baseline RIA Officer's Model outshot it by a wide margin...got swapped to someone who wanted a project.
Had a few other lame Colts in the last few years as well...makes me sad to see that happen to a proud name.
Now, my 1918 1911 (not A1)...that’s a beaut, it is. Still shoots great (would've outshot that recent model easily).
