So many complain about the "bouncy" recoil of the Colt. (I think the YouTube crowd gets a little nitpicky about the PPC's recoil impulse.)

Its a 9mm. There is no bounce.

The bounce can be minimized or eliminated with a heavier, or adjustable buffer weight.

I've never had a OEM Glock mag fail me, but I have had aftermarket Glock mags fail, including the Magpul variety.

The availability of Glock mags is orders-of-magnitude better than Colt SMG mags.

Lastly, is there any conventonal handgun than uses the Colt SMG mag?

The Colt mags are an altered Uzi mag. (They have a special locking notch cut in them.)

I am sorely tempted to buy a 10.5" barreled upper and SBR the doggone thing. You can always swap back-and-forth between the two and enjoy both.

SbR with 10.5” would be fun in 9mm
