Governor Brian Kemp’s commendation and the State of Georgia General Assembly’s two resolutions underscore a shared commitment between the State of Georgia and Colt, a historic and renowned firearm industry leader, to promote education, awareness and responsible gun ownership across the state. By working together, Georgia aims to empower owners with the essential safety practices, proper storage techniques and responsible handling guidelines. Through community-focused firearm training programs, “Colt Safety Scholarships” will serve as a reminder that safety is a collective responsibility - one that protects the individuals, families and communities of the state.

To ensure access for all Georgians, Colt has also launched its new “Colt Safety Scholarships.” This funding will provide eligible residents with free enrollment in the program over the next 12 months.

I had no idea there was a crazy Brit sharing the same moniker.....learn something new every day!
Yes sir. Michael David Edwards, aka "Eddie the Eagle" represented Great Britain in the '88 Calgary Winter Olympics in ski jumping. He was not very good. However, no one can take away the fact that he will always be an Olympian, which is a lot more than I can say about myself.
