A Glock 19 Gen 4 is hard to beat for a EDC handgun. I think I'm in the minority, but I like the finger groove grips on the Gen 3 and 4 Glocks. I don't like the new Gen 5 build. Not taking anything away from the quality of a Glock, but just ergonomically, don't much care for them. I have a Gen 4 G19 that's just all around a great EDC handgun. I also carry a S&W Shield .45 ACP on the occasions I want to carry a single stack .45. It's very concealable and fits a bit more comfortably than the Glock does, but I'd grab either of them in a pinch.
