It really is the one holster to rule them all. :LOL: Clothing just isn't a consideration once you use an Enigma.

Especially the Open Source models they sell unassembled where you bring your own kydex holster. You can *really* fine-tune your own personal setup.

I'm also a STRONG believer that you need to be able to run, jump, roll over, stand up, sit down, kneel, lay down etc without your holster/gun coming loose or getting in the way. If you can't do those without your gun falling out, it's not a good setup.

If there's a holster that allows me to do all those things and not lose my gun I'm all in. A miracle cure for sure.

It's basically just a Holster with a soft belt attached but it's so much more secure than any clips in actual practice. And it's the only holster I can wear all day without discomfort. Shield X + TLR 7 sub + EPS Carry pictured.

I think the key is uncoupling what holds up the weight of the gun from what holds up the waist of your pants. I won't go back to holsters that rely on the same belt as my pants. No more feeling of my gun "hanging off" me or pulling my pants down etc. Just a gun that's held tight to my body while my pants can still move naturally and freely.

May I inquire as to what the heaviest gun you’ve carried in the phister? More interested in weight and barrel length, not type of gun necessarily.

Right now it's just been the Shield X w/ 15rd extended, EPS carry and TLR-7 sub pictured. So a pretty small compact or subcompact but I think the enigma would still be good with a larger frame gun. The way it holds the gun to your body without affecting your pants really changes things IMO. I think you could easily carry a Glock 17 size gun in an Enigma without issue. Maybe even larger depending on your frame. The enigma allows for a decent range of tilt/cant/angle adjustment as well that is hard with other holsters. Once you get it setup properly it allows for a level of indexing or repeatability that is beyond most holsters. You can really position the gun exactly as you like and move it around your body more than a traditional holster as well.

My dog does those tricks, I'm lucky to roll around in the scooter!!
 
I always just smile when I see folks wax eloquent about their latest “tacticool” clothes for CC. I carry daily and have done so for nearly 4 decades. Normal dress is deep pocket jeans and a t-shirt in summer/sweatshirt in winter. Typically a pistol in a pocket holster in the strong side front pocket of my jeans, no muss, no fuss. On occasion depending on circumstance I may carry otherwise but then it’s either a pancake or Aliengear cloak tuck. I buy my T’s and Sweats in XL when I could use an L but’s that’s it. I Always wear a heavy duty leather gunbelt. In jeans a spare mag (or speed strip) slides nicely into the watch pocket (I’m a southpaw so pistol is on left side). It’s worked for literally decades.

Must be a Whataburger breakfast day, with a trip to Tractor Supply for some window shopping! lol Once in a while I get fancy myself, and break out a new, un-worn Carhartt pocket t-shirt for those special trips to town!
 
I don’t have any special clothes for concealed carry. A shirt worn out whether I’m in grubby clothes or somewhat dressier clothes. If the shirt is tailored to be worn out, it just looks natural. If I have to wear a sport coat in a dresser situation it’s easy to hide a firearm. To my knowledge, I have never been made and people that know I carry can’t believe that I’m carrying two firearms. I guess if you feel the need to have a tucked in shirt at all times it might be a little harder to conceal. I was always a fat guy or at least chunky and most fat guys just naturally wear our shirts out. I saw an old boy in Florida, dressed in a nice button-down shirt tucked into his dress short pants. I say old boy he is probably my age, but it looked that he was the type that wouldn’t be caught dead in a T-shirt and jean shorts. He had a larger than normal phone case on his belt. As I got closer, I looked and recognized it to be a sneaky Peat holster by its markings. I’m sure no one in the grocery store realized that he was carrying a firearm unless they were familiar with sneaky Peat holsters. There’s always a way as Evan Marshall used to say you just have to learn to dress around your gun.
 
I don't think you should have to change how you dress to carry a gun. Women can and should carry in dresses and skirts. Men don't have to wear belts or heavy pants. With an enigma you can carry with 0 regard to what you're wearing and you can probably carry a larger gun while you're at.

It's the slanted back pockets on the 5.11 pants , that screem Cop or Fed from 4 asiles away at the convience store .

The holster isn't my limiting factor . It's a Chiropractor / Ortho thing .

Shrug . The 1.5 days a week that l wear my own clothes , it's been jeans / jeans adjacent cargos / rarely jeans shorts for at least 50 years . Not going to change to yoga pants or skirts now .

But for the last 10 yrs or so , it's now Belt And Suspenders .
