Crutch Brace For AR Pistol

What about attaching this to the rear of a pistol brace on an AR pistol? It would replace the strap that attaches to your arm. Ideas? Opinions?

That does that! An AR pistol doesn't work well as a crutch anyway; mud gets in the barrel.
I noticed that brace when my neighbor had one on his crutch from a foot operation, I thought it would stabilize the AR for a one armed banger or just an old guy.

Good point 10MM, it would be a modification.............OK, bad idea. :(

Most braces have a cut out for the wrist although most are too small and uncomfortable. you might look at the tailhook. i have two of these and the pistols i didn't SBR i left these on. they are solid and the armrest folds out. only drawback is you have to use their buffer tube. which comes with it.

I had a Tailhook Mod 2 on my 7.5" Saint Victor 5.56 when I had it. Personally, I think it's the best brace out there. It's solid if you want to shoulder and the fold out shelf is the most useful I've seen. The only pistol I have now is the Kuna and I've got the Strike Industries brace it came with it. I'd do the Tailhook on it, but it's just too expensive to change it. I'd have to purchase a 1913 rail and then the Tailhook. But, if I had a pistol that needed a brace, this is the one I'd go with.
