Hi,

Oh my! That is quite the dance, between truck and cyclist. A lot could go wrong really quick.

Even with help to overcome the air resistance, it's an amazing feat.

Air resistance is a huge factor. When skydiving, in freefall we'd max out at about 120mph. I guess Mr. Campbell has me beat. ;)

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Next time you're on a freefall if you see a guy on a bike pass you maybe it will be him (with a chute on) trying to set a new record.

my '82 yamaha seca 650 turbo @ redline (9,500) is supposed to be 132mph, but i took it to 11k. not sure what that ended up being on mpg though? 150+ish? the '65 vette i had (according to the speedo) i toped at 136, but only due to the frontend getting very light. i still had another 3k rpm left to max.
