Dearborn Heights Michigan police patch in Arabic

Yet another reason why English needs to be made THE official language of the United States. My great grandparents (Mom’s father’s parents)came here from Germany in the 1880’s. They spoke German at home their entire lives, BUT they spoke English in public because you could NOT do business unless you did. No reason at all the same conditions shouldn’t be applied today to ALL. You wanna live here, learn English-you don’t want to? Go the he.l back where you came from. We do NOT need you…😡

And the “woke”ness continues.
There has to be an India National on the city council to even get this hypocrisy discussed.
Can you imagine a patch in every foreign national language on a law enforcement agencies uniform?

I’ll stop now.

"can you imagine...?" kind of. After decades of wearing this on our shoulder, someone in desperate need of an a** kicking and a real job to take up their time, complained that the men were too white, and the women were not represented. So they started having the man with a scythe embroidered with brown thread, and we were told that once the new/old state flag was adopted all patches would be switched over to that. Well......... Then a complaint was filed because a man with a scythe working in the field has to be about slavery. Obviously, ME having a long history of being a hotbed of slavery  I don't know how it all turned out, I retired, and we voted down the changing our flag from what we all know to the Pinetree and star flag that the only time you saw it, it was sandwiched between a BLM and Rainbow Flags. Maybe not the best strategy outside of Portland, the St. house, and the mid-coast.
