How about doing something that benefits us all? (d) and (R) should do a bipartisan bill on spam and robo calls? I had 23 calls on Monday. Paid extra for "Verizon call block", down to 3-5 now, still violating my privacy. Block one number and at least three more pop up within minutes from NY, PA, DC, might as well turn off the stinkin' phone. My running list of blocked calls is up to over 100 now. My wife has a medical issue, can't do that.
I wish the digital "Smart" phones were never invented. Don't recall this happening to analog phones.

Sadly, I think all legislators (local, state, Federal), are only loyal to their donors, not their constituents.

That’s why we see some ridiculous legislation proposed at each level, every year. That’s how the elected payback those donors - it gives the donors/radicals (both parties are guilty) the spotlight.

Twisted, but I think that’s the reality. And each party tries to leverage something against the other, again, not to benefit their constituents but their donors.

Politics is about money. Not what makes sense or is right.

Virginians need to sue their state govt and do a recall vote on their legislators. There are steps to remove a govt legally on a recall vote. Get them out of office

Not in Virginia there's not .

There's a very convoluted difficult process for * Local Offices * , that won't directly remove them , but rather trigger a hearing in Circuit Court , to determine if the particular Local Officeholder should be removed from Office , for serious criminal acts .

State Legislators and Governor are exempt from that .

The only way to remove them , is by Impeachment.

Rally the citizens and vote them out of office the next election

We have family in rural Virgina, obviously not close to DC, and they are so fed up with the political climate there.
They can't move - taking care of older members and family property that would be hard to liquidate. Plus, at the age of some of them, it would be hard to start over somewhere else.

About the only saving grace they have is a term limits. Maybe vote the bast*ds out and repeal the law later. Who knows.

But let this be a lesson to us all .... voting does matter.
