Did Hans leave ?

I’m considering banning myself.

Naw, dont leave. He’ll be back.

Remember its a public company owned forum. Certain words and phrases offend some.

Not me, dont care, but the world isnt full of tolerant people. If a lot of members hit the “report” button, I’m sure mods have to do something.

We dont know what happened, but I have a guess with some of the words used. Thousands of members on here, and some of those that rarely post can hit report enough and … rest is history . IMO

I for one respect Hans commmitment to what he believes. I think that in the past Hans and I have been on the opposite sides of the coin a couple of times, but then maybe that's why a coin has 2 sides. If anyone here doesn't agree with my view I don't take it personally, and one thing I've learned over the years being on these forums is there are certain topics that usually go downhill quickly. Bottom line is my view isn't going to change and I'm not going to change anyone else's so what's the point of getting ugly? Besides, I hate seeing a train wreck develope and folks I like go at it. After all, this is a forum where we share ideas not a forum with a squared ring. Just my 2 cents.

Copied this sentence from the "Terms and rules" page... "The moderators reserve the right to impose “time outs” or bans of members who do not follow the forum’s rules." It looks like he is in "time out", as his avatar is still on the page, and it shows activity. If he was banned, I would assume his avatar would have been replaced with a generic one and he would no longer be able to access his account. I'm pretty sure he will be allowed back on the forum, but I have no clue when that would be. Maybe the "mods" could provide a little more insight on how many warnings you get, how long time outs are for, and what other punishments there are. That information is not in the terms and rules as far as I can tell.
