Dine & Dash Stories

I’ve dined and dashed in my youth, but I think it’s called a one night stand, cause I never saw her again 😉

I've done it many moons ago...

1-5: i went for a week "vacation" with the dad/family, camping on Assateague(sp?) Island(?), it was close to Ocean City, Maryland. There was/is a McDs between camping and OCM. The drive-thru dummies gave the food before getting money and away we went. 2 actually closed the window after giving us the food.

6-7: were done at a diner we/i practically lived at. A very shortened story. A waitress and a waiter each got a D&D, no more than we usually ate. But mess with my order you get what you get. Both got fired after only a few months of working. And yes a NJ diner story... i got a bunch of... lol...

My attempts at a D&D were a "revenge" type thing and mostly me wanting to do it. I have a "limited" diet so keep messing up the order/s and i try to get a free meal.

Never done it. I have walked into gas stations in the wee hours, grabbed a couple 12 packs and hauled ass out the door. Back in my much, much younger days. Never got caught. There were no cameras back then.

Walking home from junior high, past a drugstore that sold 3.2 beer back in the 70's and the Coors guy had cases stacked unattended by the back of the truck :p . That six-pack and a Matchbox car I lifted when I was about 6 were the two things I ever stole (besides hearts!)

I stole a comic book when I was like 10. Had it for two days could not even read it. Took it back and apologized to the man then went home and told my parents. Nobody punished me but me...

To my memory I never took anything not mine again. Not even stuff from exam rooms at Dr's. Where I know a lot of people do, just feels wrong, to me, not judging others.

Now as for lying done my share of that a a kid, mostly to stay out of trouble for the other things I did. Like marking Zs on all dad's out buildings with my chalk tipped Zorro sword, it was Zorro i swear, Thing disappeared after about a week, dad said Zorro must have stole it. Then there was the time we went swimming in the river in March lit a fire to dry our clothes and burned all Don's clothes up accidently so he walked home wearing my tshirt upside down legs thru the sleeves, then there was the time..
